PROFILE
Purpose - the Profile Table provides current car movement transactions involving those in which the car moves to you as a "new car" for your service, or back to the leasing company at the end of a lease/sublease. Start and End date information is also captured for the movement of cars traveling from one lease or service to another. The Profile captures the Lease Number information associated with the car at a particular point in time and can provide current information regarding its movement from one sublease to another. Information about Payoff Value, Manufacturer and a brief comment line are also included in this table.
The Profile Table is also the basis for monthly invoice reporting in systems with the Invoicing module. Entries in Profile are compared with Lease numbers in the Lease table to produce accurate monthly arrears and monthly prepaid invoicing. If you do not have the Invoicing module, entries will be moved from Profile to Cumulative Profile when an "End Date" is entered for a car. You will be asked to confirm the end date before this occurs.
